The Setback

Following a major setback, John Diggs, a former successful mortgage executive and pro football player, redefined his career and established a unique niche that fulfilled a demand. Hard work, resilience, and commitment to his passions define his story.

Due to reconstructive knee surgery, he had to abandon his flourishing sports career, but he went on to become a thriving leader in the mortgage industry.

His career in the mortgage industry was hit with a setback due to the market downturn and mortgage meltdown. He lost it all – his business, home, car, and even his family.

He refused to give up and instead delved deeply into his passions, exploring fresh opportunities. After nine months of relentless work and research, he emerged as an expert in Mind Mapping and a certified Life Coach.

Besides his other talents, Diggs is an exceptional speaker and an author. His incredible journey and outstanding mind mapping abilities secured him a spot on the TEDx stage, allowing him to share his one-of-a-kind perspective and captivating ideas. He is also the mastermind behind The Ville, an online community for those who want to lead fulfilling lives through mind mapping.

The response of his TEDx talk was so overwhelming, prompting Diggs to write and publish What’s in Your Big-Ass Box?. A book based on his TEDx Talk that reached #1 on Amazon’s “Hot New Releases” list.

The Comeback

Utilizing his training as a certified Life Coach and certified NLP Practitioner, Diggs has become a trustworthy Mind Mapping Master, helping people live their best lives.

Mind Mapping allows for free-flowing ideas and connections, which can help stimulate creativity. It can assist people in cultivating a more creative mindset by breaking down mental barriers and promoting new ways of thinking.

In short, mind mapping is a useful tool for organizing ideas. Diggs describes it as “an ancient, time-honored system of thought that makes our brains do happy dances by bringing their two sides together, boosting creativity, memory, and productivity.”

Corporate organizations and education have utilized mind mapping for years, prompting Diggs to question. “What if we took the same time-honored system and applied it on a personal level to help us live our best lives?”

I had a conversation with the busy entrepreneur to explore mind mapping further.
