Cristina Fontanelli’s Journey from The American Academy to Grand Orchestras
Cristina Fontanelli, born in Brooklyn, New York, is a patriotic Italian-American who pursued her passion for the arts. Fontanelli’s diverse career includes acting, opera singing, and television hosting. She graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Juilliard School. She has performed on stages alongside renowned figures such as Joan Rivers and Joe Piscopo, as well as with prestigious orchestras such as the Boston Pops Orchestra.
Fontanelli, dubbed a “vocal genius” by The New York Sun, has garnered numerous honors, including the OSIA Lifetime Achievement Award in the Arts. During the Covid-19 outbreak, her devotion to generosity drove her to form her own NGO, providing free tickets for veterans and affordable options for elders and the needy.

The Ukrainian Youth Choir will add a special touch to the event, singing traditional Italian Christmas carols and dancing to classics like “Dominick the Donkey.” To make the occasion even more magical, Santa Claus will make a special guest appearance.
