“Elon Musk is set on competing with YouTube,” said the source
By launching X’s TV App, Musk aims to provide users with the ability to watch long videos on larger screens, which would compete with video-making giant YouTube. The person further said the new app has an “identical” appearance to YouTube’s television app.
According to the sources, the world’s richest man desires to compete with other services, such as the social media forum Reddit, encrypted messaging software Signal, and the live-streaming site Twitch, along with YouTube.

Market Conception:
The X platform, formerly known as Twitter and primarily used for expressing brief text messages, is now trying to gain greater recognition in the competitive streaming video industry by launching its TV app. However, many market experts do not consider the company’s plans to expand to include everything from smartphones to living room televisions an innovative step.
Reportedly, celebrities, media figures, influencers, and online video game streaming are at the core of Musk’s vision for the video streaming app launch. X recently collaborated with CNN Star‘s former anchor,Don Lemon, to exclusively stream on the X platform. Competing with Google‘s YouTube is expected to be difficult, but throwing wads of cash at creators and influencers can help X attract a wide audience.
