It’s Ambani’s wedding, and pre-wedding festivities. A number of celebrities, stars, and notable leaders from all around the world’s corners arrived in the city.
Asia’s richest man,Mukesh Ambani‘s youngest son, Anant Ambani, and industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter, Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot in July. On the other hand, their three-day pre-wedding festivities are scheduled to start today and last through March 3, 2024. Several national and international celebrities, influencers, and the world’s top leaders began arriving at Ambani’s spot in Gujarat’s Jamnagar to be part of their pre-wedding celebrations.

Stars have begun to arrive in the city to participate in the pre-wedding festivities. Celebrities including names like CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerber with his wife Priscilla Chan, international pop singer Rihanna, actor Shah Rukh Khan (with family), songwriter, and bassist Adam Blackstone, including Bollywood superstars Salman Khan, Ranveer Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Arjun Kapoor, and Boney Kapoor, along with film directors Atlee, Orhan Awatramani, and others, have already reached the venue.

The list doesn’t end here; several notable individuals, including Bill Gates, Bollywood movie stars, cricket players, and fellow Indian billionaires Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla are expected to attend the celebration.

The invitation has been further sent to prominent public figures, including Saudi Aramco chairperson Yasir Al Rumayyan, Bhutan’s Queen Jetsun Pema, Adobe CEO Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. Notable faces like former World Economic Forum chair Klaus Schwab, former prime minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, former president of Bolivia, Jorge Quiroga, and former prime minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd are also on the guest list.

What are the preparations so far?
Besides the guest list of giant individuals, superstars, and leaders, preparations are going on at full blast. Ambani’s celebration kicked off with the traditional custom of the ‘anna seva’ ceremony, where all the activities marked the start in complete Gujarati style. This ceremony is conducted at Jogwad village, next to Reliance Township in Jamnagar. The people were also served traditional Gujarati food by Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and other members of the Ambani and Merchant families.

The ‘anna seva’ entailed feeding about 51,000 locals, which is expected to go on for several days. During the function, Viren and Shaila Merchant, Radhika’s parents, and maternal grandmother were also present.
