And an iconic white Lehenga by heritage India fashions, as a tribute to Bollywood Diva — Sridevi.
“I strongly believe that Indian textiles and tailoring is one of the finest in the world. I have a lot of friends in the East and this was the perfect opportunity to give them exposure to the real world. I am really proud of what my fellow Indians are achieving and they deserve to be seen on the Red carpet.”-Iti Acharya
Born in Rajasthan and worked in South Indian films for quite some time, Iti has a soft spot for India as a whole and in an attempt to showcase this love, she has taken to the Global International Platform by bringing all directions of the subcontinent under one big family.

INTERVIEW with ITI
Congratulations on your red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival! What was the experience like for you?
Thank you so much. It was surreal to be honest. Everything happened so quickly, I am still at Cannes 2022 in my mind and heart. The festival in itself was everything I had expected and so much more. Totally a “Love at first sight Affair” And I am extremely thankful and grateful to the universe to make it happen.
What is it about the film industry that captivates you?
The learning, the opportunities, the travel, and meeting so many interesting people. Every day is a new adventure….I find it so fascinating. Literally, one day you will be shooting in a tiny town in Karnataka and the next day you are on the red carpet at Cannes. Which other profession allows you this level of diversity.
What are some of the most meaningful projects you have been a part of?
Every project I have associated with, has its own place in my heart and life, personally. I am a firm believer that Films have the power to influence society in a very effective way so when I get to work on any such project which is speaking for a cause or is thought-provoking for an audience, that’s inspiring in itself.
I am proud to say that a lot of my recent projects have voiced out great causes like the existence of Child Abuse in the educated class of society, the modern women’s struggle in coping with the so-called developed world’s hypocrisy, or something as emotional as how parents sacrifice their dreams in the process of raising their children.
What are you currently working on and what’s next for you?
I am currently working on a project titled “Triya” which is a collaboration of an Indian and American production. I am producing a couple of projects in Indian languages this year as well. I am looking forward to taking a project next year to the International Film festival circuit with me so that is something work in progress currently.
Any upcoming red carpets you will be attending that we can be on the lookout for?
Right now I want to focus on my shoots, but might be attending a few Galas towards the end of the year hopefully. Keep an eye on my social media for any updates or surprises. Wink Wink…
