INTERVIEW

What does the music industry mean to you and how has your journey been so far?

Christenelle: The Music Industry means so much to me. It gives a platform where I can put Balance, LOVE, Energy, and Emotion all in my own way to connect to everyone. My Journey in The Music Industry has literally been a walking dream. Everyone I had a CD with growing up I have a song with or know personally. From Starting where I have started to now, I have accomplished so much.

What is the best celebrity music moment you had in your career and why?

Christenelle: The Best Celebrity Moment I had in my career is a draw between The Lox aka D-Block, I have been with them alot in my career, but one time, we were all in the studio chilling and they put Sunday Dinners Remix on and my energy had literally everyone Dancing, Laughing, Jumping, Literally Going Crazy!!!!! Jadakiss even got up and started going crazy with me!!!!!

They always expect I’m going to show my energy and every time I come in Clutch. The second best Celebrity moment was when Spice 1, The Luniz, and I had a Southern Tour recently and after the shows, we would sit outside and talk about Tupac, Biggie, and life goals till 5 am every morning or later. That is something I can never forget especially being so young listening to their music.

What impact do you want to make as a music artist?

Christenelle: The impact I have made and want to sustain as an artist is to stop Self Destruction, Bring Back Sunday Dinner, Welcome Traditional and Love Back In Our Life’s, and Hyping People Up To Beleive In Themselves no matter the color.

What is the most meaningful song you have written so far and why?

Christenelle: The most meaningful songs I have written so far are either, “Dreams” Featuring Petey Pablo, my intro to “In Our Crystal Castle” and “Made Me” featuring Bynoe from The Riot Squad. The reason why I gave three was because me and Petey Pablo share the same Birthday, July 22nd and the song is about Your Dreams Could Be Around The Corner if You Give Up Your Faith. The Second One ( Intro) is about my Great Aunt Aanne Kennedy because she showed me so much love even though we weren’t blood related.

Last but not least, ‘Made Me’ featuring Bynoe means so much because my true inspirations in the game, (Stack Bundles & Chinx) were his team members for The Riot Squad, and Bynoe and the Riot Squad have had my back since day 1 and I am truly thankful for Far Rockaway, and The Riot Squad, and the song is my remembrance of Chinx, Stack, and how I always climb and get knocked down.

Any new music we can be on the lookout for?

Christenelle: Be on the lookout for my 3rd album coming with some HUGE CELEBRITIES. Be on the lookout for My 1st mixtape with Dj Dice Brooklyn ODB’s DJ also Method Man & Redman. I also got a song coming with Ms.Toi in a movie next year. Also, Me And The Freestlye King, Lil Flip got things coming for yall.

Make sure yall come to my bday party at Sharkeys on July 22nd 2022, doors open at 5pm. Cassidy, Bubba SparXXX, Craig G, Ms. Toi, and many more will be performing with me.

Meet HOTEP, Man on Mission to Build Strong Children NOW

The next chapter of my life is dedicated to building strong children. First starting with my own, and then helping others do the same. As an entrepreneur coach and advisor to school leaders, I’ve seen firsthand that the biggest problem people face is not a lack of knowledge, resources or money. It’s their lack of healthy social and emotional skills. These skills are normally and best developed between the ages of 0-5. But too many parents either are not aware of this fact, or they don’t know how to help nurture these skills in their children, so they grow into adults with mental health disorders that hinder their ability to be successful at anything. The great Frederick Douglass said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” I agree. So now, I invest my time and energy in creating empowering content for children.
