Crystal Willis is an Entrepreneur, Author, Speaker, Mindset Coach, and Brand Consultant. She has founded several companies including The Omni Firm, The Crysalis, and LipLadyFab.com. Most notably, Willis is a childhood trauma survivor and bullied Lipedema sufferer who grew up to become a “Hollywood Publicist” representing celebrity clients.
Depressed and unfulfilled, she used her own story to heal her life, left a Fortune 500 job and a toxic marriage to build a location-independent business and authentic personal brand, while manifesting her wildest dreams. Through her books, podcast, public speaking, and coaching, she helps soul-led women entrepreneurs to own their story, reinvent their lives and impact millions. Crystal’s personal stories have been seen in Marie Claire Magazine, Salon.com, Sheen Magazine, ShoutoutLA, PBS, Blaze TV, Daily Signal, and more.
During a nearly two-decade career in Entertainment, she was instrumental in marketing and public relations campaigns in music, film, and television, lending her talents to major corporations such as CBS, Universal Music, Warner Bros. Records, and Disney Music Group. She has promoted countless projects from celebrities like Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Snoop Dogg, 112, and Zendaya, as well as major events such as The Stellar Awards and Pan African Film & Arts Festival. Her current clients now include a diverse roster of thought leaders, artists, cannabis brands, and influencers, as well as non-profit organizations.
Willis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and Marketing from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from LA Valley College. She is a Certified Master Transformation Life Coach, a Senior Leader of Mastery in Transformational Training (MITT), and is currently studying and practicing Neuro-Linguistic Programming with her clients. She also studied Voice and Music Business Management at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

INTERVIEW with Crystal Willis
BIZBoost has followed your remarkable career as a Hollywood publicist. We see that your primary focus now is on coaching and consulting women entrepreneurs in building their brands and breaking through their perceived limitations. What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?
Crystal: Yes, I’ve expanded my vision to address more than the personal branding and marketing needs of my clients to support them in the mindset challenges of overcoming their fears and reinventing their life and business. I’m obsessed with helping diverse women CEOs and survivors to own their stories and empower them to bring their gifts to the world. My clients accomplish that by doing the inner work to show up in a more impactful way, stepping into greater levels of self-worth and confidence, or having the business and branding strategies to monetize their gifts. I absolutely love seeing women go from feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and doubtful to feeling motivated and empowered to bring their visions to life.
As a Lipedema sufferer, how has the journey been opening up to others about your experiences?
Crystal: Being bullied and struggling with a vastly underrecognized hereditary condition like Lipedema used to truly feel as though I was dealt an unfair set of cards, simply because my body doesn’t look like most women. However, I’ve found it so freeing to choose joy over fear and not hide or play small. An estimated 11% of women worldwide suffer from Lipedema, but many of them are misdiagnosed as being obese. It warms my heart so much when women reach out to tell me that my courage to don a swimsuit inspired them, or that my willingness to share my story helped them to find the guidance they needed to get treatment.
What are you currently focusing on as you grow your empire right now?
Crystal: After nearly 20 years of working primarily in the entertainment business and living in Los Angeles, I’m currently living a location-independent lifestyle as a digital nomad and revamping my business to scale and serve more women around the world. I’ve launched several digital courses, and offer private and group coaching, as well as retreats and branding packages to aid them in bringing their visions to life. In addition to marketing, sales systems, and personal development, I also offer corporate marketing and DEI consulting.
What else would you like our readers to know about you?
Crystal: One of my mentors, multi-millionaire Amanda Frances says, “the number one key to making it, is DECIDING that you’re going to make it.” I’ve learned that when I make a decisive commitment to believe in a future reality, I’m already halfway there. Then, it’s not so much about getting to your destination or manifesting the thing you want — it’s about trusting that you have what you need inside you, everything will work out, and finding peace and joy in the journey. That type of resolve is what signals to the Universe that you’re energetically ready (or getting ready) to manifest what you desire.
